Just as important as quality flight training and safe, reliable equipment is our chase crew!
The chase crew is often to most overlooked part of ballooning. While the pilot and her passengers are floating in the skies above, the chase crew packs up all and stows all the equipment, drives ahead of the balloons flight path scouting for possible landing sites, watches for changing weather conditions, takes note of potential hazards such as power lines, and works with land owners to ensure the balloon has a safe place to land.

Our chase crew, as is the case with most balloon chase crews, work with us on a volunteer basis. They chase because they share our passion for hot air ballooning. In return for their dedication and hard work they earn credits toward a free flight in our balloon.
